Heads Up — FASB provides guidance on disclosures regarding government assistance

This Heads Up discusses the FASB’s recently issued Accounting Standards Update (ASU) No. 2021-10, Disclosures by Business Entities About Government Assistance. The ASU requires business entities to provide certain disclosures when they (1) have received government assistance and (2) use a grant or contribution accounting model by analogy to other accounting guidance.
