The SEC announced yesterday that it named Paul Beswick acting chief accountant in its Office of the Chief Accountant. Mr. Beswick replaces Jim Kroeker, who left the Commission on Friday. According to the SEC’s press release, “Mr. Beswick will oversee accounting interpretations, international accounting matters, and professional practice issues.”
