IFRIC staff presented an update to the Board from the March 2008 IFRIC meeting. Deloitte observer notes from the March IFRIC meeting are Available on IAS Plus.
The Board was informed that the IFRIC expects to finalise its work on D21 Real Estate Sales and D22 Hedges of a Net Investment in a Foreign Operation in May 2008 and to send the Interpretations to the Board for approval in June 2008. IFRIC staff noted that the consensus in D21 may require a subsequent amendment to IAS 18 Revenue and asked the Board for short-term feedback on this issue.
