PCAOB Standing Advisory Group to discuss FASB/IASB projects

The Standing Advisory Group ("SAG") of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board will discuss [joint] projects of the FASB and IASB and the potential impact on auditors at a panel presentation on 15 July.
The discussion is intended to help inform the PCAOB staff of the SAG's views on auditing challenges and the potential need for new or revised auditing standards or staff guidance in response to the potential upcoming changes to U.S. generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP") and International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS").
