Speech on risk management and financial instability

In a speech at the 2nd Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa Memorial Lecture, Lord Adair Turner spoke on the financial and risk management policies which lead to the financial crisis and provided his thoughts concerning proposed reforms and their implications.
Following the speech, a discussion panel was held with Lord Turner and IASB Chairman Hans Hoogervorst, which included conversations on mark-to-market accounting, the role of IFRS during the financial crisis, and other related topics.
